ENERGY RECOVERY LIAISON GROUP
An independently facilitated community liaison group was previouusly established to share information and engage in balanced discussion about Veolia`s proposals to build and operate an Energy Recovery Facility at the ex-Rufford Colliery site near Rainworth in Nottinghamshire. The reports and other information from the liaison group meetings were previously available for viewing here but as the matter has now progressed to the planning stage these have now been removed.

There are also various protest groups around the area, who are against incineration in any form, such as P.A.IN ( http://www.p-a-in.co.uk )
The matter has now been "called-in" by the Secretary of State for a public enquiry to be held ( date to be advised)
